may bring their own computers to campus. Each dorm room
has at least 2 network connections providing access to
email and the Internet. The bedrooms in the apartments
have 1 connection. Southern Wesleyan University provides
instructions and training opportunities on how to connect
their Windows computers to the network. Students are responsible
for bringing their computers in good working order, with
network cards installed and a surge protector. We strongly
recommend 3Com Etherlink 10/100Base-TX cards for PC compatibles.
You will also need one Category 5 network cable 6'-20'
in length.
