Lab (Green)
Located
in the Gibson Science Building, Room 251, this lab hosts
20 Pentium III 1 ghz computers running Windows 2000
Professional on an Ethernet network. Microsoft Office
2000 and FrontPage 2000 are installed on each computer.
Also available is Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Fireworks.
Printing is routed to a network laser printer located
in the lab. An HP 1220 color printer and color scanning
is also available.
This lab is used for classroom instruction and general
student use. AGS computer classes are held here in the
evenings and are not generally open for student use
at night. During scheduled class times, students other
than those receiving instruction are not permitted access
to this lab. A semester schedule is provided at the
lab entrance. Students may be required to show ID and
reserve computer time. Class work takes priority over
recreational activities such as e-mail and chatting.
Instructors and Information Technology staff supervise
this lab during hours of operation. Questions or problems
with software or hardware should be reported to instructors
or to the help desk at extension 5050.

hosts 20 Pentium 850 computers running Windows 2000
Professional on an Ethernet network. Microsoft Office

in the Folger Fine Arts Building, this lab hosts three
Windows computers and is operated by the Fine Arts Division
for its students. The computers have Microsoft Office
2000 and Finale 2003 along with several other specialized
software packages for music majors.
Located
in the Gibson Science Building, this lab hosts twelve
Windows computers and is operated by the Science Division
for Internet Computing majors. The computers are equipped
with Microsoft development software tools, Microsoft
Office, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Fireworks. Access
to this laboratory is limited to students seeking an
Internet computing major or minor.

Computer
labs are provided for students enrolled in CPSC 1103.
Location of this lab will float from classroom to classroom
as needed for the above listed course. The University
provides both the hardware and software needed for classroom
instruction. Thirty laptop computers running Windows
98 and Microsoft Office 2000 are available for classroom
instruction. Computers are not to be removed from the
classroom or assigned facility.
The
University provides each off-campus site with two Windows
computers for research purposes. Windows 98 and Microsoft
Office 2000 are available on these computers. Internet
access is provided through the university WAN.
