About Your Mitel 4015 Set

The SUPERSET 4015 has eight fixed-function keys (SUPERKEY, MESSAGE, HOLD, CANCEL, TRANFER/CONFERENCE, REDIAL, and ) and seven personal keys with built-in status indicators. The personal key on the bottom left is always your Prime Line. Directly above this is the secondary line for call waiting and the top left is reserved for voice mail (see programming a Speed Call Key for voice mail programming). The remaining personal keys can be programmed as Speed Call keys.

When using the SuperKey, press Cancel to back up one menu level.

Telephone status indicators

When the line is:
Idle
Busy
Ringing
On hold at your set
the indicator is:
Off
On
Flashing slowly, message indicator also flashes
Flashing rapidly

Telephone message indicators

When message are:
Waiting
Empty
the indicator is:
Flashing
Off

Adjusting the Viewing Angle

To tilt your telephone for better viewing:

  • Press the tilt-release paddle on the telephone base.
  • Tilt your telephone to the desired angle.
  • Release the tilt-release paddle.

RINGER CONTROL

To adjust the Ringer Volume while the set is ringing:

  • Press or .

To adjust the Ringer Pitch while the set is idle:

  • Press SUPERKEY.
  • Press # until “Ringer Adjust?” appears.
  • Press *.
  • Press *.
  • Press r or s.
  • Press #
  • Press SUPERKEY

Handset Receiver Volume Control

  • To adjust the Handset Receiver volume when you are using the handset:
  • Press or .

Speaker Volume Control

  • To adjust the Speaker Volume when making an on-hook call or when listening to background music:
  • Press or .

Display Contrast Control

  • To adjust the Display Contrast while your set is idle:
  • Press or .

Making and Answering Calls
To make a call:

  • Lift the handset.
  • If you want to use a Non-Prime Line, press a Line Appearance key.
  • Dial the number,
  • or
  • Press a Speed Call key,
  • Or
  • Press REDIAL.

To answer a call:

  • Lift the handset.
  • Or
  • Press the flashing Line appearance key and lift the handset
