How do I configure my e-mail?

The procedure followed to properly configure your e-mail depends on the e-mail client. Click on your e-mail client below to get the correct instructions.

How do I set up my e-mail account for webmail access?

When you register at Southern Wesleyan University you will receive an e-mail address, you are set up to use webmail. Using an Internet browser, go to this page http://mail.swustudents.com/exchange

How do I check my e-mail?

From your dorms/apartment you can use your e-mail software such as Outlook Express to access your e-mail. While off campus or in the labs, webmail will allow you to take advantage of a variety of features, which include the ability to send and receive e-mail using a computer with Internet access.

Does webmail have an e-mail storage limit?

Your mailbox has 10mb of storage space. Deleting your e-mail regularly will ensure this limit is not exceeded. When using webmail, deleting mail only moves e-mail to your trash folder. E-mail is completely removed when the trash folder is empty.

What if I have forgotten my e-mail password?

Call Information Technology at 644-5050. Be prepared verify your identity. Information Technology will not be able to tell you your password, but they can set a new password for you.

What is the name of the Incoming mail server?
The name of the POP3 server for incoming mail is mail.swustudents.com
